Oxygen Component Repair
C & L Aero is certified to service all makes and all models of aircraft oxygen regulators, valves, and cylinders. We are knowledgeable of a vast
majority of all systems currently found in general aviation and corporate aircraft. We have contacts throughout the industry allowing us to repair almost every supplemental and emergency oxygen supply component used
today.
C & L Aero also provides hydrostatic testing services for compressed gas oxygen cylinders used in modern aviation. This service is performed by a
D.O.T. certified facility approved by the FAA. We recently began offering complete restoration services for steel cylinders which require
reparkerization, as well. Just because a cylinder is rusty does not mean it is not salvageable. These cylinders are bead blasted inside and out, then are subjected to a
specific process which provides a phosphate coating to the bare metal. Once hydrostatic tested, the cylinders are
primed and painted and are in factory new condition once again.
We do not ship cylinder assemblies filled, but we are capable of on-site filling for those customers who visit our facility. We only use Aviators
Breathing Oxygen for all of our transfill processes.
C & L Aero is one of the last companies capable of servicing old Sky Ox system components. Today, anyone calling Aircraft Industries, Inc. the
company currently offering a Sky Ox product line, regarding the older components will be referred to C & L Aero. Aircraft Industries, Inc. no
longer supports the older components. We have design drawings and the latest revision of the maintenance manual for the old Sky Ox systems and
can accomodate most repair functions for these old components. We know where to get parts !!
C & L Aero is familiar with oxygen systems found on all manner of aircraft and can provide service to most. We service system components
for Cessna, Beechcraft, Mooney, Piper, Canadair RJ, Gulfstream, Hawker,
Saberliner, Lear, Boeing, and others. We are experienced with fixed system components as well as portable
systems. We have the capability to test, repair, and overhaul all regulators which
are installed into composite and steel cylinders. All service is performed to, and many times above, the standards set forth by the
manufacturer.
We believe our level of service exceeds that of our competitors. Our experience with all
makes and models gives us an advantage over other shops which have an affiliation with a specific manufacturer. We are experienced with
hand-knob regulators, cable actuated regulators, and portable systems, both approved and unapproved, currently used by all manner of pilots and
aircraft. We also have capability on various panel regulators found in
cockpits today.
C & L Aero also services oxygen accessories. Everything from oxygen pressure gauges to flow indicators to blinkers, from masks to remote
filler valves, and of course, outlets. We have the ability to service all
of these items, and those that we cannot repair, we are capable of finding replacements for.
Another item C & L Aero is certified to service is Emergency Gear Extension Bottles, also know as Blowdown Bottles. We are capable of
providing hydrostatic testing of the cylinder and service to the valve. For those older assemblies which are currently considered obsolete and
unrepairable, we can assist in obtaining replacement components.
