About C&L Aero
Founded in 1937, the original company, located in Hayward, CA., was
known as the American-Air Instrument Repair Company, and was a teaching school for the repair and alteration of aircraft instruments. In 1943, the
company moved to the Oakland airport and dropped the teaching aspect of the business. Renamed
A.I.R. Corporation, the company became one of most respected repair facilities in the western states and provided valuable
services to the aviation community and the United States military. In April of 2000, all assets of the company were purchased and relocated to
Redding, CA,and in December of 2000, C & L Aero was launched.
